Dancing at Lughnasa
Dancing at Lughnasa tells the story of five unmarried sisters living in a rural part of County Donegal in 1936. They share their home with Michael, the seven-year-old son of the youngest sister, and their older brother Jack, a missionary priest who has just returned from Africa. The play is narrated by an adult Michael, who looks back on that summer, offering a poignant reflection on the lives of these women.
